Courts (Dominica) Ltd is one of the eighteen subsidiaries established here in the Caribbean. Its operations have led to a great transformation of business and customer awareness. Presently, there are 275 stores worldwide (93 of which are in the Caribbean) and two stores locally, namely the Roseau and Portsmouth stores. When Courts opened in 1992, approximately 85% of the furniture sold by the company was locally made. The company worked tirelessly to establish a manufacturing base on which it could build its supplies.
