US Embassy To Hold Visa Facebook Chat

Visa-Facebook-ChatEastern Caribbean residents can find out more about the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program during an upcoming Facebook chat hosted by the United States Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program is mandated by the United States Congress and makes available up to 55,000 diversity immigrant visas (DVs) annually.

With the start of the online registration period (October 4 to November 5) approaching, the Embassy will hold a live chat event on the discussion board of its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/USEmbassyBarbados) on Wednesday, September 28, between 2:30 and 3:30 pm.

Consular officers will answer questions and provide information about the programme. Anyone wishing to participate must be signed up as a fan of the Embassy’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/USEmbassyBarbados). The discussion will be open from noon on the day of the chat so that people can post their questions in advance.
