Antigua St John's - The Pineapple Grill at the Grand Pineapple Beach Resort has re-opened after a three-week refurbishment.
The re-opening was commemorated on Tuesday, January 31 during a lavish cocktail and dinner attended by travel agents, tour operators, the media, and other invited guests.
General Manager Courtney Miller said, "This is a very special moment for us because a lot of labour and love was invested in order to create a unique atmosphere where authentically Caribbean cuisine is matched by a wonderful ambiance and phenomenal service."
From mouth watering pumpkin soup infused with ginger and Antiguan brandy to signature dishes like "Dreadlock Noodles," and “Supreme of Chicken Wadadli,” the culinary team at Pineapple Grill wowed the invitees.
In addition, Executive Chef Anson Beason has teamed up with the Antigua Hospital Training Institute for a culinary mentoring programme where students are able to work closely with chefs from the resort to gain theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
