Antigua St John's - On the Docks of English Harbour, a relaxing new lounge bar has opened its doors. Serenaded by the sounds of Jazz and in the presence of multi-million dollar yachts, the Cafe Club is the best place to go for an evening's getaway.

And from the wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the soft and comfortable couches, the Cafe Club is built to sooth away the bustle of life.

The Cafe Club is great for anyone. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening with that special someone, a quiet place to sit with your friends, or just looking to get a drink in style, the Cafe Club is the place to go.

The relaxing lounge bar is also a fantastic place to meet new people. And since the Cafe Club is right on the docks, it plays host to people of many cultural backgrounds and origins.

Founder and Manager Patricia Bird said she decided to open the Cafe Club because she felt that was missing amongst the existing venues.

"The reason why I decided to open the bar is for extremely selfish reasons. I wanted to go to a place like this myself, but I found none were around. I wanted to create a place for young people, whether in age or in heart".

"We've all been to the rowdy places and bars, and I wanted to go somewhere new. I wanted an atmosphere where anyone could feel comfortable and relax." In addition to the club, Bird also manages the Body Shop in Heritage Quay.

And it seems this lounge bar is headed for bigger and better things. Intellectual discussions, poetry, and more can be expected in the future of the Cafe Club, a getaway in paradise.

Open from 5pm every day.
