I recently visited an interesting eatery called The Larder. While not actually a restaurant, this place is designed mainly to provide food to take home, or away in general. It offers soup, sandwiches, pastas, BBQ menu, party platters and more. There is also an outdoor balcony if you wish to stay and eat.
Altogether, I ordered the creamy cauliflower soup, the crab cake salad, Mahi Mahi, their special hamburger, and a roast beef sandwich.
The soup wasn’t bad, although it wasn’t particularly a charmer. I wouldn’t say it was delicious, but the cauliflower taste was present. The salad was very good - fresh and rich with a very delicate topping, and the crab cakes were exceptional.
The Mahi Mahi was not appetizing. I found it hard, too chewy, and the flavour wasn’t good at all. It was a
big disappointment. Not so with their hamburger however. The patty was very thick and juicy, wrapped in bacon and topped with melted cheese. It was a treat.
The sandwich was also delectable. The beef was very tender and delicious, and I found the dish really came together nicely. All this was served with french fries and a spinach popeye salad.
Finally, it was time to put The Larder’s desserts against my sweet tooth. I ordered the cheese snack and chocolate fudge. The snack wasn’t half bad, and the lemon was in perfect balance. The chocolate fudge wasn’t great. It just felt like something was missing from the fudge, and it left an undesirable flavour.

you should spell check before you post an article!
If I were to grade you, you would not fair to well, cheese 'snake' I think you meant 'cake' twice you misspelled. Also what is a spinach poppy salad...must be another misspelling!
I think you missed the ball on this one.... The Larder is great . Maybe you should give it another chance
