New Spot Opens for Big Burger Fans

Burger Bar burgersThe search for the perfect bite is what led to the opening of the Burger Bar in English Harbour. Young entrepreneur Keisha Ali has come up with a menu featuring everything from the traditional beef and cheese on a bun, to creative additions like sunny side eggs, avocado, and beets.

With names like the Big Beefy, Regular Beefy, and the mini beef, there's something for every appetite as well. These are no ordinary burgers though.

The meat is specially seasoned and frozen to lock in that superior taste. The Burger Bar boasts the "tastiest, beefiest, homemade burgers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere".

Beyond the beef, there's a Beer Battered Fish Burger, Chicken Burger, Veggie Burger... and a tempting Burger Surprise.

Other toppings include blue cheese, mushrooms, pineapple, and peppers.

The Burger Bar sits nestled in The Anchorage along the bustling restaurant strip on Dockyard Drive in English Harbour.

This tranquil spot also features live entertainment on the weekends from 7 to 11 pm, and a happy hour for those who want to indulge at their well-stocked bar.

At last an establishment that serves real burgers that really taste good and are made from artifcial product. Even if you are not a hamburger connoiser, you'll appreciate the great taste of the burgers at The Burger Bar at English Harbour. The difference is noticeable when compared to hamburgers from other restaurants in the area as good as theirs are. An added bonus is the great atmosphere provided by the layout and especially the team of Keisha Ali and the chef Uri who provide a memorable experience. On a wednesday night there is live music and audience interaction further enhancing a great experience. Thumbs up to the Burger Bar. ****

#9 Burger Bar! » 2011-01-28 06:18

Thank you for your comments... Our Chef's first language is not english but he is very good at making burgers... just a correction we make our beef burger patties fresh daily and keep them chilled and prepare them fresh when a customer orders. We only make a small amount daily to be served for that day. Thank you once again for your great suggestions and comments. We look forward to serving the public even better everytime.

The word you are trying to spell is "you've" not "youv'e" as you mentioned. However, it is okay, I am more interested in your ideas and as you may not know blogging grammar is not of importance, I can see this is your first time blogging in an arena. Please research this, any site and tell me if you see one grammatically correct blog and post.

" Before posting your comments I think you can help yourself by reading over and checking the dictionary if you are not sure how to spell a word".

Let me correct the sentence above for you Jill. "Before posting your comments, I think you should help yourself by reading over and checking the dictionary, if you are not sure how a word is spelled. It is just a suggestion.

I award you on your intelligence, if that is what you are looking for on this arena. Jill, I love you.

My way of helping... Did you previously say you were a lawyer/attorney ? I think you could help yourself by learning to spell and write constructively. The correct spelling for the word you wanted to use is "meat" not "meet",and some other grammatical errors youv'e made. Before posting your comments I think you can help yourself by reading over and checking the dictionary if you are not sure how to spell a word.
Just a suggestion.

Great food...and exceptional service!

Just had another great lunch at Burger Bar. Well worth the drive and I think the price reflects the portion size, quality of the burger, and toppings you get.

The killer smile and attentiveness of Keisha seems to top off the experience rather nicely. Free wifi also makes it a great stop for lunch and to check up on emails, etc.

I wish them a successful season and look toward to another tasty burger and exceptional service.

I visited this joint two weeks ago and I left an extremely pleased customer.

The decor for simply a burger joint is quite inviting and the waitress, well let's just say you do not find many like her. If the burger wasn't good, then her personality and warmth is sure to convince you to return.

The wait for the food was a little long, but I realized that the cook was being meticulous with his preparation.

W ith great company and conversation, the wait isn't a bother.

I will be returning for sure.

I tried this place a couple weeks after opening. The burger was good but perhaps a bit pricy. My biggest setback though was the long wait... Waited almost 45 mins for a burger and fries. However, the waitress did apologize for the long wait and stated that they were unusually busy that night. In all it was a fair evening...

Thank you and my help

I congratulate the owner and I am proud but we must be careful what we say and advertise, the tourist coming from developed countries knows that any burger meat that is frozen looses taste and is not of quality. Yet, on this article it was proudly said meat are seasoned and frozen to lock in taste, even Wendy's in their commercial said we never freeze our meet.

I commend you on being honest but why freeze the meet, just have it chilled enough to stay fresh but eliminate the frozen part. I must say congratulations and I hope you will do great business and thank you for taking a chance on us, United Islands of Antigua and Barbuda. I just wanted to help, my way of helping with love and sincerity.

The tourist are not socialized to know frozen meet is a no no because of what they learnt from all the big burger places in USA, UK etcetera.
