Once one of Antigua’s most secluded beaches, the Hermitage Bay Beach is now popularly known the world over as the location of the luxurious Hermitage Bay Hotel.
This still almost virgin 1200 foot beach is tucked away behind hills and greenery on the western coast of the island. The rugged journey from the end of the village of Jennings ends in delight at the shores of a perfectly formed sparkling white sand beach with adequate shade and unbelievable blue waters.
It is simply perfect for swimming!
Because of its location, the beach is never crowded and is perfect for lovers. A stones throw past Hermitage Bay Beach, are at least four or five other small secluded beaches, virgin no doubt, and only accessible by off-road or four-wheel drive vehicles.
