Long Bay Beach has been dubbed one of the best swimming beaches in Antigua. Like the other 364 beaches, the water is crystal clear and blue, and but the sand is a soft pink.
Long Bay Beach is located on the eastern tip of Antigua. By car it takes just under 30 minutes to get there from St. John’s City while passing through the villages of Glanvilles and Willikies. Parents love this beach because the calm, shallow waters make it perfect for family picnics.
Yards away from the shoreline and at the entrance of the bay, a living barrier reef offers great snorkeling adventure. Long Bay Beach is ideal for any type of water sport you can think of.

On the western end of the beach, the famous Long Bay Resort, and a few small restaurants offers various amenities to guests. Just a stones throw away, beachgoers can also visit the historic Devil’s Bridge and Indian Town Creek.
Take your pick … whether you choose to just sit back on the sand or under a tree, get a tan, or soak all day in the soothing water, Long Bay Beach provides the perfect atmosphere for you.
