For the fourth year in a row, Antigua and Barbuda will celebrate June as the “Month of Romance” with the return of the Celebrity Destination Wedding.
Adrienne Scales and Myreon Smith, winners of this year's Destination Wedding Sweepstakes were announced last week and the lucky couple from Atlanta, will exchange nuptials on the island's southeast coast at The Inn at English Harbor. The couple won an exclusive wedding package sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and other key industry stakeholders.  

Derede Samuel Whitlock, Director of Tourism for the United States, is excited that the Celebrity Destination Wedding is back.  She commented “We expect that with the celebrity involvement that the event will provide significant media exposure for the destination and continue to position us as the 'Romance Capital' of the Caribbean."

The “celebrity guest of honor” will be celebrity stylist, Indashio.

Indashio, is a 23 year old fashion designer, magazine editor, celebrity stylist and entrepreneur, who won the first series of the VHI reality show “Glam God”. The eight-episode reality series hosted by film and television superstar, Vivica A Fox, was designed to find the next hot celebrity stylist who has what it takes to be a visionary in fashion trends, and can raise the bar in Celebrity style.

Indashio has also become known as the "Humanitarian Designer".  This reality show winner has expanded his brand beyond his clothing creations with a fragrance and accessories and is stylist to a host of celebrities including: Nicky Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Kathy Lee Gifford, Lil' Kim, and Tyra Banks.

As in previous years, the wedding attire will be provided by the internationally acclaimed fashion line, Demetrios’ Brides and wedding bands by Colombian Emeralds. The wedding will exude the true flavors of the destination as most of the resources will be donated by local providers: Photography by Photo Fantasy, Flowers by Exotic Flowers, Hair and Make-up by Mingles and wedding cake by the sous chef at The Inn at English Harbor.
