This year, ICTFEST will be staged for one day, September 15, from 9 am to 9 pm at the Multipurpose Cultural & Exhibition Center. An official launch was held on Thursday for the event, titled ICTFEST Reloaded.
A release from organisers said highlights will include interactive exhibitions, interactive seminars, competitions, and the cyber café.
ICTFEST 2010 Committee Member Asha Christian said, "In addition to the traditional, but ever popular Computer Assembly Race, we will be bringing back the DMS Speed Typing Competition and are introducing a Graphic Design competition and an Amateur Photography competition.
"The Graphic Design and Amateur Photography competitions bring something new to the table this year. They bring to the fore the fusion between Information Technology, imagination, innovation and the visual arts. The Ministry is committed to empowering members of the general public through IT, and these competitions allow them to showcase their talents through IT.”
Registration is open, and potential exhibitors and sponsors were asked to contact any member of the ICTFEST organizing committee at (268) 468-4610 or
