Antigua & Barbuda's representatives recorded the following performances at the Pan Am Games. Tamiko Butler: 31 minutes 39.73 seconds finishing the 12.4 miles 14th out of 15th approximately three minutes behind the winner with an average speed of 23 miles per hour.
Robert Marsh: 56 minutes 49.77 seconds finishing the 25 miles 14th out of 14th approximately six minutes behind the winner with an average speed of 27 miles per hour.
Both riders did exceptionally well as the only two participants from the English speaking Caribbean.
The time trials are races dominated by the South Americans, evidenced by the fact that Colombia won gold in both the male and female time trials.
Cycling continues this Saturday with the road race for both riders.
