Peter Harrison clinched the Yachting World Trophy for the Round the Island race in style today. By smoking around the 44mile course in 4 hours 37mins and 43s, Harrison's Farr superyacht Sojana has sliced nearly half an hour off the record set four yeas ago by Tom Hill's Reichel Pugh 75 Titan XII. Trying to cling to their coattails, Yachting World was onboard Lee Overlay Partners (pictured), the Cookson 50 that was previously called Chieftan under Ger O'Rourke's ownership. But despite an exhilarating 18 knot downhill sleighride, we came in third (YW diplomacy in mind!), 25mins behind second placed TP52 Rio.
