Antigua St. John's - ALP Senator Chet Greene has rebuffed suggestions that the proposed 2013 Year of Sports is proceeding without his input, considering his position in sports and his spot at the top of the National Olympic Association (NOC).
Greene told Caribarena that he would have made his contribution to the proposal before it went to the office of Opposition Leader Gaston Browne who has, on behalf of the Antigua Labour Party (ALP), fully endorsed the initiative.
“I would have made my input at the level of the Olympic Committee before the leader. I had quite an extensive discussion on the matter with comrade Browne,” Greene said.
The Senator noted that he had personally met with his colleague in the Senate Winston Williams and made his contributions to the project.
Greene pointed out that the NOC is actually a senior partner in the whole project and during his consultations with Minister Williams he would have offered several recommendations that are today evident in the project going forward.

Why the cover? Did Comrade Leader take a peek at his Ethics Binder?Quote:
Father Forgive me for I have "injured my foresight, acumen and spiritual sensitivities ... settled for narrow materialism & useless machinery. ... signed over birthright to the prolific plans of other nations and peoples" in the words of Newton.
