Once again the youth shows that sports in Antigua should be taken seriously. They perform well in all categories, despite the little they have to do with. No fysiotherapy to look at the muscles to ensure they are at maximum condition. No dietricians to ensure the right food is consumed. To compete in sport on a professional level is not cheap. We have seen when our body builders are preparing for it. And so it is with every sport. Up to a certain level you can do things with your own strenght etc. Thereafter you need professional training. And that cost money. Special trainers, coaches, dietricians and fysiotherapists . May I suggest the government sponsors these promising athletes that keep putting Antigua on the map by giving them access to these services. A once a week visit to a fysiotherapist and a diatrician should not be that expensive that the Ministry of Sports cannot pay for.
