There are times when you have to sit down and look where we are as a nation. We are slowly becoming a Golf playing nation and i believe much is due to the fact that gold is accesseble to many even the not so well of person. In many other countries it is an elite sport, but in Antigua I must say quiet affordable mainly I belief is due to the fact that the Government has shares in this property. Cause if it was privately owned we would not have such a wide range of persons having access to it. I do believe we need to have more golf courses and this is a pwerfull tourism attraction. And usually golfers are of a higher income earners. Therefore they will spend more and pay for higher wages and services.

I gladly recall those day's, trodding bare feet; to the shore's of Half Moon and Mill Reef beach.
Observing the players from a distance, and between my curious glance's I am thinking, If I had the chance; to play this sport. Reality, got the best of me for as I compared my patchwork, cut off, hand-me-down shorts, and shirtless attire, out of my reach was this desire.
Migration got a hold of me; while providing me with opportunity', to be all that I can be, to make positive, enhancing, fullfilling choices. The game of golf is similar, your choice's, efforts, decision's are all yours and the wack that you that you smack that ball with as you deal with the natural and different obstacles are no different than those of life's cycles. JUST MORE CALMING.
I have also learnt, it's the game of cricket, played between Long On and Long Off, so a natural progression for cricketers and can be for our youths to.
Have a fantastic, enriching and enlightening tournament.
