Antigua St. John’s - The Halcyon Tennis Club has hailed its Inaugural Rupert K. Henry Fun/Health Walk a success.
About 50 persons completed the walk, last Saturday, which was organised in honour of avid tennis player and fan of the junior development programme, the late Rupert K. Henry.
At 5 am, the participants set off from the Shell Beach Marina starting point and travelled the Jabberwock, Hodges Bay, and Cedar Grove route before finishing at Halcyon by Rex Resorts Tennis courts.
First walker to arrive was Antonette Hobson, Edwin Hughes second, while the first runner to make it to the finish was Aiden Ambrose.
Arriving first in the youngest and oldest walker categories were Seth Joseph and Elmore “EP” Piggot, respectively.
