Antigua St John's - The Antigua & Barbuda Football Association held its Sixth Annual International Professional Development Coaches Course at the ARG over the weekend.
The course aimed to help coaches improve their skills, to assist in the development of youth, as well as overall football in the country.
The facilitators were Technical Advisor Bryan Hamilton and Alfred Galustian, co-founder of COERVER Coaching.
Hamilton said the coaches who attended this course were better equipped to teach their students.
He said, “The knowledge you will gain on this course will help you to plan and deliver effective sessions that are both challenging and fun for the young players that you work with. (The course) will hopefully provide the pathway to the development of game effective, technical excellence which we are all striving towards.”
He added that the relationship he has developed with the Antiguan coaches has been extremely fulfilling for both parties.
