Antigua St John's - Trevorn Hazelwood’s seventh-minute strike proved enough as Inet Young Warriors secured their second win on the trot as they overcame Pares 1-0 in the ABFA Second Division on Friday.

Hazelwood beat the goalkeeper from close range with a shot into the roof of the net as Warriors missed several chances but still managed to secure another three points at the Pares playing field.

The win pushed Warriors onto eight points from as many matches. They next play again on December 9 against Golden Grove at 4:15 pm.

In the meantime, Young Warriors U13s were beaten 3-0 by Bassa in their first match of the ABFA U13 Development League on Saturday at John Hughes Playing Field.

Warriors’ next match against St Anthony’s was not played because their opponents were not available.
