Antigua St John's - Former West Indies pacers Curtly Ambrose and Kenny Benjamin will team up for the Inet Kenny Benjamin Youth Fest 2012 at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds on Saturday, February 4, and Sunday, February 5.
Youngsters participating in the weekend’s event will learn firsthand from Ambrose and Benjamin about life as a professional cricketer, and get some tips during Master Class sessions on Saturday, February 4.
According to Benjamin, “When we held the first Master class with Junior Murray at last year’s event, we found that the youngsters really enjoyed talking with us. I am really pleased that Curtly, a former colleague and West Indies legend, has so readily agreed to be this year’s special guest.”
The Master classes are just one session of a packed weekend that will also see the youngsters participating in Public Speaking with Marcella Andre; Drama with Linisa George of August Rush; Nutrition with Gavin Henry; Internet Safety with Inet engineers, and Finance with Scotiabank.
They will also have master coaching sessions with a team led by Benjamin and Ambrose, and receive fitness tips from a trainer.
