Antigua St John's - Pigotts hosted Bolans and sent the ‘Round South’ team home losers by 66 runs in the 30-over Parish League cricket tournament on Thursday.
Bolans won the toss and sent the home team in to bat - and that might have been a mistake, as openers Otis Thomas and Ajani Frederick got off to a relatively good start.
The two put on 30 runs before Frederick went for 14.
Pigotts went on to score 206 for seven wickets in a penalized 26 overs, four short of the allotted quota.
Thomas, a usual at the Cedar Valley Golf course with his powerful drives off the tee, took his swing to the cricket field for Pigotts with a team-high 46 runs.
Five boundaries decorated Thomas’ innings before he went LBW to Earl Waldron.
Thomas had good assistance from Trish Phillip 25, and Dean Williams 24.
