All Saints West Poll AnalysisAntigua St. John's - Yesterday's poll for the All Saint's West constituency featured four candidates, the Incumbent Chanlah Codrington (UPP), the ALP's Davin Joseph, and two independent candidates, Wigley George and Ralph Potter.

The poll ended with George and Joseph far ahead of Codrington and Potter, with George receiving the most votes out of the 4 candidates. In the 2009 election, Codrington received the most votes, with approximately 19.7% more votes than Joseph.

George did not run in the All Saints West Constituency during the 2009 election, and was unsuccessful in his bid to be elected in the St. Paul constituency. Potter did not run in the 2009 election.

From the start of the poll, Davin Joseph (ALP) and Wigley George (Independent) established themselves as the leaders in the poll. George established a significant lead, which was slowly closed by Joseph, who overtook George briefly before loosing his momentum and falling back behind George.



At the end of the poll, George received the most votes, with 37.7%, followed by Davin Joseph with 32.7%, Ralph Potter with 11.1%, Chanlah Codrington with 10.4%, and the none of the above option with 8.1%. There were a total of 742 votes in the poll.

In Antigua and Barbuda, there were 621 votes, with George receiving 40.9% of the total local votes, Joseph receiving 35.3% of the total local votes, Potter receiving 10.8% of the total local votes, Codrington receiving 6% of the total local votes, and the none of the above option receiving 7% of the total local votes.

If Daven couldn't win when the ALP was large and in charge in government, he loss by an even wider margin in 2009, how in the hell he go win in 2014????

George is not an independent candidate. He is the President of the Union which is allied with the ALP. He is the best choice now, tomorrow and in 2014.

I am glad to see that the local voters have seen Codrington for what he is by their votes. I believe that Codrington is a xxxe. I have been watching his record. In my opinion he portrays himself as this self-righteous person and he portrays himself as this independent of thought representative but when I look at his record in parliament he always talk talk talk then FALL IN LINE. I was told by the elders a long time ago "TWO DON'T WALK TOGETHER UNLESS THEY AGREE". In my opinon, Chandlah Codrington is a xxxe.
