Wigley is not even producing in the Union and we will not forget what happened last election. Daven is the man for the job he comes with vast knowledge and experience and I know once given the opportunity he will get the job done. Remember it is not what your country can do for you but it's what you can do for your country. Daven has proven himself and he can stand the test.

Chandlah and Davin are both jokes. You see them during the campaign. Then, they pass you on the street. I need someone to represent me. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Chandlah's famous words are, " I can't do anything for you." What kind of representative is that? We need a change. Wigley, you have MY VOTE and the VOTE of two other registered voters in our household. Good luck. People are waiting for you to come and make a positive change in this constituency.

Loks like he's getting a whooping right now. But to say he had a chance is not true. I am comparing him to what I know about him. I have seen him stand up on some solid issues and he did it with passion. He was the only politician at what I felt was important. I have seen the and yes they all fall short but on of them will win. We gave some a chance and I don't think they did that well so I am willing to give Daven a shot. If he prove himself no good, I will be the first to hold him responsible for actions or inactions. Now if you got another candidate you believe is better state your case. Daven wants to try and he is an intelligent person. could he be worse than any other?

Chandlah clear example

#29 Mr.Cool » 2013-02-05 17:42

here is an example, in chandlah case, you have persons put themselves for office and have know knowledge/idea how the world works where managing a country is concern,he/they may mean to do well in some case..but wanting to help/do and have know idea how a country suppose to manage is disastrous, that 's why we need to put persons with that kind of knowledge to manage the afair of the people, don't choose person that coming to learn on the job...and at the end off the day, country bankrupt, and taking a nose dive,we need to understand running government is seriouse business!!,peop le life is at stake here,,if UPP government haven't shown you an example of the above mention don't know what will :-*

Really... what is the purpose of these polls? I don't see how it reflects the voting intentions of the relevant constituencies. I would have been more impressed if a poll of eligible voters within the respective constituencies were taken with a +/- margin of error stated. As it stands this is a mindless exercise..... or is there a darker motive Caribarena.....

Codrington, Potter and George, what have they accomplished? NOTHING. They bring nothing to the table! Daven, on the other handed, is a renowned marine biologist, and negotiator. Someone who can bring something to the table! Although the others are "nice" guys, that can't help our nation at this point. Vote Substance, Vote Ability, Vote Daven, Vote LABOUR!

#14 youth » 2013-02-05 11:43

Wigley George can be trusted to fight for workers rights and I think he will do just as terrific a job in representing the people of his constituency. Daven Joseph remember you neglected your constituents. I haven't seen you in almost 4 years except the 1 time in Epicurean with yiur basket poor people never pushed, and I've resided in your constituency all my life. You've had several chances and you've failed miserably. Codrington can sleep for 5 years and beat you full force. Give up!!! GEORGE ALL THE WAY

He has a backbone which is truly rooted in the struggles of our freedom ... And eyes of fire that are always burning like the torch of LABOUR ... I AM NOT FREE YET!!! POLL DAVIN IN!!!

give him a change

#10 tired » 2013-02-05 09:34

its a pity who unfair we are. we gave chanlah multiple changes to deliver and he didnt. we have never given daven the opportunity. we make assumptions based on what we dont even know about? think about it. has daven been given the chance. some say daven is a waste but how do we know this? he has never been given the chance. ralph is not a bad choice but enough of the upp switchers on alp ticket man. alp is sure to win the next general election. if daven loose then we move him. As to wigley, stay with the union you're doing a good job. politics is not your calling.

I am soo sorry Chanlah, you are a decent guy, but you are not decisive political material. I need someone who can represent me and get things done. You are unable to do this! I am soo sorry Chanlah but we gave you your opportunity, you failed and now it's time to give the ALP a chance again. My vote is for a change and for the Antigua Labour Party! Poor Chanlah Not Chanlah Again!!!

#6 Thomas » 2013-02-05 06:32

I have been a resident of this constituency all my life and helped to campaign to bring home the seat to my friend Chanlah Codrington and the UPP. But this next election I am going to vote for someone who can really make a change and is taken seriously! A vote for Chanlah is a wasted vote because he either cannot or is not able to deliver to the majority of his constituents. This is a well known fact ! I don't want someone who keep making excuses why he cant do this or that, I want someone who can perform and make a positive difference in our lives. poor chanlah, he is a light weight in his own party, not taken seriously, not trusted to be a Minister and he has had his chances. It is now time for us to give someone else a chance! I am voting for ALP, come next election.

Most interesting

#4 Real Observer » 2013-02-05 06:09

This poll will perhaps be the most interesting to date. Interesting because it is clear that Chandlah like Namba yesterday is a spent force who has failed and failed miserably.
Daven on the other hand has had two bites at the cherry without success In any of the polling divisions. Wigley George is sen as an enemy of the people after his mercenary actions in the 2009 elections which stopped another ALP candidate from winning in St. Paul. I predict that he will amass the least support in this poll as people continue to hold him responsible for the UPP victory and associated hardships we face today.
Ralph Potter, he dark horse in this race has run this seat before for the UPP and has name recognition in the area. He is loved and respected and could turn out to be the man to watch/beat. Let the polling begin

Daven Joseph 4 me

#1 skyewill » 2013-02-05 02:56

Here is why: I know Daven, went to school with him and one things I know is he is genuine about wanting to do goood for the people. I remember he came to me and ask if he could help. he did no just talk like some did he came. Daven has been trying for years. I have seen and herd him at independent meeting where he spoke out against crime a few years ago. I say give him a chance. We give others a chance and got nothing, let try something different and keep trying something different until we get it right!
