Antigua St John's - Former prime minister Lester Bird is not satisfied with the governor general's refusal to commission an inquiry into two controversial issues.
Bird has responded to a letter from Governor General Dame Louise Lake-Tack on April 25, turning down his request for inquiries into alleged improprieties in the government fencing project and more recently, the Chinese power plant deal.
Bird has accused the GG of failing to be objective, and said he was not satisfied with the government's internal handling of the matter.

Bird said the ALP would be meeting soon to discuss their next move.
