The police are now searching for a murder suspect after discovering a woman’s body at Windward Bay, near Pigeon Point beach. As further information comes to light, the police now tell Caribarena the body was that of a white female, who appeared to have died from a single stab wound to the neck.
She was not found in a vehicle as earlier reported, but was lying on her back.
According to the police, she is believed to be in her early twenties. They declined to provide any further information about her identity until her family is informed.
Corporal Frankie Thomas said it was too early to release any other details when asked whether the victim was a tourist.

For goodness sake, WHEN are you going to realise this is of paramount importance! not worthy of just a small insertion in all the local media. Tourism is your main business!

I am shocked and stunned to hear of another incident only a few days before the one year anniversary of Drew being killed... everyone is deeply saddened for her family and hope that whoever did this crime is brought to justice and that the outcome is made public. We can not let a few criminals spoil this beautiful island.

It is amazing how easy we lay blame at the feet of the politicians. Was it a crime of pa*sion? Are there other factors involved? We just do not yet know?
What we do know is that all of us are responsible for crime and curbing it. We know the criminals directly and indirectly, but we attempt to do very little in aborting crime. What we are seeing though is that there are those amongst us who just do not care what the h**l happens to this country. Thwy will do just about anything to fulfill their (evil) schemes and in the process, they destroy property and limb which has serious implications for a country which places all its emphases on tourism.
A loss of life is one life too much, but if this is a boat person (one year almost since the captain got killed), heaven help us!
Enough for now
