
The police have made an arrest in connection with last week's murder of an American tourist. According to sources, the accused fits the widely publicised description of the suspect.
Nina Nilssen was stabbed to death on Windward Bay on January 19, near the popular Pigeon Point beach.
The media has been invited to a press conference on Sunday afternoon, when details of the investigation are expected to be released.
Despite the relatively quick arrest, Antigua was not able to avoid damaging fall out.
The ship on which Nilssen was a passenger has already dropped the island from its itenerary for the rest of the winter season.
