Antigua, St John's - A Jamaican convicted of indecent assault last month was sentenced to prison when he returned to the High Court on Tuesday.
According to information from the police, Justice Mario Mitchell convicted Noble Mayne on February 16. On Tuesday, he sentenced him to four years at Her Majesty's Prison.
In other news from the police, two bandits who held up a business in Lower Gambles on Wednesday were reportedly nabbed by the police as they fled with an undisclosed sum from the cash register.
After the robbery at around 1 pm, the men had run over to the Woods Mall parking lot where a silver car was waiting for them.
The police were however able to act quickly, and now have two suspects, a 38 year old from English Harbour and a 23 year old from Liberta, in custody. One of the robbers was said to have been armed.

In Barnes Hill, a woman reported that her home was broken into and several electronic items were taken sometime between 6 am and 12:30 pm on March 23. These included an Acer laptop, a Kodak camera, an HP laptop, a gold chain, and $350.
