A woman who parked on 2nd Avenue in Gambles on February 1 came out the next morning to find both headlights had been stripped from her white Nissan Almera, R1080.
A young man about 5'7", light-skinned and of medium build, wearing a brown hood and 3/4 green pants was spotted in the area. The value of the lights is presently unknown.
In Union Estate, two truck batteries were removed from a vehicle parked outside the owner's home at Union Estate sometime between 11 pm on February 1 and 6:15 the next morning. The pair of 8D200 batteries taken from the truck , C9288, were valued at $1,265.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old Tindale Road resident is charged with stealing a digital Canon camera valued at $350 from a man from Switzerland on January 10.
Likewise, a16 year old from Cashew Hill is alleged to have attempted to break into a home in Briggins with the intent to commit a felony at about 7:30 am on January 29.
