A 14-year-old boy was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Stapleton Lane on Monday, according to information from the police. The teen had been standing east of the YMCA Sport Complex at about 2:45 pm when two young men came up behind him.
They pointed a gun at him and took his Blackberry, valued at US$200.
The victim described one of the bandits as dark in complexion, wearing a yellow polo shirt with white stripes, while the other was slim, and also dark, wearing a black shirt.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man from Belmont was jointly charged with an 18 year old from Villa with stealing another Blackberry, valued at $800, on January 4 on Cross Street.
