Bandits Attack Three Times In One Day

Bandits AttackThe police are investigating a robbery report where two men - one from Golden Grove and the other from Cook’s Hill, reported being held at gunpoint by two masked men.

They had been walking home from work when they were approached by two men with white shirts tied across their faces, and armed with guns.

They were held at gunpoint and robbed of a black Dell laptop valued at $2,400, two Nokia cell phones valued at $300, a Samsung cell phone valued at $150, and $200.

The perpetrators were described as slim, dark in complexion, and about 5'6". One was dressed in a purple shirt and brown ¾ pants, while the other one was dressed in a white shirt and ¾ jeans.

They were both wearing black-and-white Nike slippers at about 8:40 pm on December 22 at Gray Hill.

In another robbery, this time in Martin’s Village, a woman reported being forced, at gunpoint, to hand over her purse to two men.

She had been walking from west to east on a by-road when she was approached by two young men dressed in dark clothing, about 5'5" and light-skinned.

The one armed with a gun pointed it at the woman while the other pulled away her green canvas bag containing her voter’s ID card, Medical Benefits card, and other documents, and ran off in a western direction towards Desouza Road. This happened at about 10:30 pm on December 22.

There was also an attempted robbery that night, where a Browne’s Avenue resident reported being assaulted by two men while walking from east to west on Martin’s Village main road near the Anglican Church.

Two young men, both about 5'5" - one dressed in a white T-shirt and black pants and the other in a brown shirt with stripes, held him at gunpoint and demanded money. They began to wrestle with the man, and the gun went off. They ran off in a northern direction. No one was injured.

All I can say is bring back the officer who is not afraid of criminals, who never takes a holiday from protecting the people of the Unites Islands of Antigua and Barbuda, Bring Back A.S.P. Francis.

The other thing is, my crime fighting plan is available, please let us all employ these highly successful and specifically tailored plans for the United Islands.
