Antigua St. John's - Police are still to conduct additional tests to help determine the cause of death of Aneisha Millet, whose body was fished out of the water at Devil’s Bridge last July, following inconclusive autopsy findings last year.
Head of the Strategic Communication Department within the Police Force, Inspector William Holder confirmed to Caribarena that they will be bringing in specialists to conduct additional forensic tests to determine how the thirteen year old met her demise.
Asked if there were any suspects in the case, Holder stated that they are awaiting the results of the test so as to determine the way forward with the investigations.
The autopsy performed on her remains was ruled inconclusive by Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Mandi Pedican of the Bahamas, whose services were secured by the police department to perform the examination.
Last year, the Police had reported that samples from Millet’s body were to be sent off to an external laboratory for toxicology analysis, and that this would have held up investigations in the death.
