Murder Suspect Still Not Returned

Kenroy MarshallAntigua St. John's - Following his dramatic escape from law enforcement at the VC Bird International Airport  on  December 2012, double murder suspect Kenroy marshall of jennings is still at large.

Information reaching Caribarena suggested that a warrant of arrest was issued for Kenroy Marshall and dispatched to US authorities.

Recent media reports said Marshall was reportedly nabbed by Law enforcement agents in the US.

On Wednesday, Caribarena attempted to obtain an update from local police officials, but no one from Strategic Communications (STRATCOM), CID, or at the commissioner’s level answered.

Both STRATCOM officials and Acting Police Commissioner Henry Christian referred caribarena inquiries to CID Head Nuffield Burnett.

“I don’t have any new information on that,” was the feedback from both the acting top cop and the PR officials.

CID Head Nuffield Burnett said he could not confirm reports of a warrant being issued, and nothing official about this was disseminated to the media.

As for the general status of the Marshall case, the CID head said he would not be able to provide any insight, for reasons having to do with the investigation.

“I can’t comment any further until later,” Burnett said.

Marshall was said to be a suspect in the gruesome murder of Alwin Robin and Alex Riviere which occurred at a residence at Tristan Ally at Cedar Vally on October 2012.

The suspect had reportedly evaded the police when he was first approached at his Jennings residence shortly after the incident.

Kenroy Marshall confirmed to be in US custody

#22 Observer 2 » 2013-02-14 19:49

It is quite clear to me now that the police were instructed not to comment on this matter. Good Job Caribarena for bringing this story back on the front page.
Minutes after the Police said they have no knew information, the Minister of National Security calls a press conference and said " wait guys I actually have an update but I have not pass that info to the police as yet, but anyways I will tell you first then I will inform the police". " Mr. Marshall is indeed in custody in the US, we do not want to say when he will be back because of security reasons, but arrangements are in place for his return, he flew from Guadeloupe to Philadelphia and was apprehended there shortly after." Those are the facts guys so I will now call the acting commission and inform him, so you guys can give Mr. Burnette or Mr. Holder a call tomorrow". Dr. Cort give me a break. It has taken you too long to come forward with this information to us members of the Public, . By the way DR. Court why did the ONDCP went to the US to interview Marshall and not the Police?, since when the ONDCP investigates Murders? Or the ONDCP is now the real police force?

To all bloggers and citizens. How do you know that the suspect was captured in waters off New York.Did you hear this from law enforcement and or an official of Government. The police pro need to come out of his cave. This man never knows anything.Inform ation that the public at large should know about. He is tight lipped. That could not happen in my city.We as a public have certain rights to know.He does not have to go into the details of the case and the investigations. Telling the population that this suspect is in custody in America, would be the right thing to do.Caribarena,h ow do you know he was caught off New York.Maybe he is still at large.

Notes From A Native Son Of the Rock! How does he do It. This Jumper of Windows, Fences, Walls, Seas, Caribbean, Sargasso Sea - filled with the jetsam & flotsam of every piece of garbage know to & created by man, woman & child - & Atlantic Ocean has clearly shown, that things are possible.
During the 60's & 70's it was with true amazement & wonder that many of our CountryWomen/Me n - with criminal records "that reached all the way back to Timbuktu" were able to penetrate the immigration gates of many North Atlantics. It is clear that the Underground Iron Bird's & Whales are still able to take them to the North Star. This commenter will no longer even try to penetrate that Stealth Technology.

It appears that many commenters are not aware that the Top CoP is on "Administrative Leave". My experience is with Higher Education where this suggests: a practice to obtain sensitive information; facilitating an investigation of some form of allegations; and, removal of one from the workplace whose behaviour is not in conformity pending an **sment.

Sir Pumpy,

Don't you thing the top cops need to come to the press regarding this case? The citizens need to know the status of the case. Was Antigua police notified by US authorities that he was captured? These thing have nothing to do with affecting the case.

CAUGHT OFF GUARD

#12 RAWLSTON POMPEY » 2013-02-14 10:23

Seemingly, Caribarena has caught Law enforcement officials off guard, while commentators were provided reasons for uncomplimemtary remarks or speculative commentaries.

From experience, those responsible to the citizenry for "...Crime-Preve ntion and Detection" are always "...Deemed to know" or "...Reckless not to know" of the status of "...Criminal Investigations. " Hence they shall always be in a position to know that they may, accordingly, provide "...non-comprom izing information."

No indication of a formal request for extradition of a "...mere suspect." Recalled the fiasco surrounding Sir Ron Saunders, who was "...never a fugitive from justice, but conveniently deemed "...Person of Interest."

For the benefit of our teasing friend "...GoodJobBob, " there is in force an "...Extradition Treaty with the United States- No. 12 of 1993; ...Signed June 3, 1996; ...Introduced in Parliament September 7, 1996; ...Came into force October 1997; ...Ratified in Parliament August 28, 2000-No.11 of 2000." Have a good day "..GJB."

DEM LIE

#6 skyewill » 2013-02-14 07:09

CA, you should ask his mother if she heard from him. The US will allow him to make calls if he is in their custody. With that said. Personally, I don't think we will see him again and Here is why: 1. they got him and shut him up, yep, the grim ripper. There is no way I believe he was found off the NEW YORK coast in the water. It's below Zero in that water this time of year. 2. The story did not pan out, Was he in a boat, on a raft or did he swim there? 3. If New York have him, because he is international, he would be turned over to the FBI and they would book and log him and THERE IS NOT RECORD OF HIM ON THE FBI BLOTTER or FBI is hiding something because they would interigate him, this is POST 911. He is not in any of the new paper or on any TV news. American Police do not operate lik Antiguan Police. In a case where 2 police were responsible for the place and the drugs but not the murders. WHAT DO YOU THINK REALLY HAPPENED TO THAT YOUNG MAN who by the way has not been found guilty of anything. Some of you are very nieve when you ask the people not to be afraid and turn criminals over to the Police, I got one question, Are you crazy?

#4 carvaa » 2013-02-14 06:48

He escape and end up in Monserrat, captured and brought back to Antigua, escape again now he is in the USA. How is this guy getting to these countries? is he swimming?
With all these Antigua passports being stolen in every robbery, there has to be a market out there, where these passport are being altered and then used for entry not only to Antigua but other part of the world. How do we track this? a mean they have to be going some where or being used else where. Could criminals be using these same passport to enter our country?

Since we crewed up big time apprehending and keeping KM in custody, perhaps the will probably want a one-for-one swap: Leroy King for Kenroy Marshall.
