Police Investigate Several IncidentsAntigua St. john's - The police have reported a number of arrests for a variety of offenses, and some unsolved crimes.

An Old Road man is accused of stealing a Blackberry Curve 8520 valued at $800 on January 30 at Jolly Beach Resort and Spa.

In Barbuda, a 29 year old was charged after a wounding at about 4 am on February 2 in Codrington Village.

Karim O’Garro, 24, of Fort Road is accused of the unlawful possession of two Visa cards, forgery, uttering, and obtaining $6466.98 in services by using the cards, knowing them to be forged. This allegedly happened between January 12 and 15 at several business places in St John’s.

A 37 year old from Jennings New Extension is accused of stealing a Carib dinghy valued at US$2,300 between January 10 and 11 at Jolly Harbour.

Meanwhile, there were four reports of housebreaking and larceny over the weekend.



At about 5 am on February 2 in Bendals, the occupant of a house awoke to find a short man dressed in camouflage in the bedroom. When she cried out, the intruder fled, taking the occupant’s black Sofia Vergara bag containing a voter’s id, Social Security, and Medical Benefits cards.

In the second case, also in Bendals, sometime between 11 pm on February 2 and 6:15 the next morning, someone got into a house and reportedly stole EC$120 and US$100.

In Gray’s Farm, an intruder stole clothing, food, and a 24” TV.

In Belleview Estate, someone stole a quantity of jewellery valued at about US$20,000, and iPod valued at US$400, and a Bose headset value at $265.

The police appealed to the public for information on this incident. Anyone with information can contact the Criminal Investigation Department at 462-3913/14, or Crime Stoppers at 800-Tips (8477).

Skyewill I had the same question in my mind. He may have swim to New York but I think he is walking on freezing water from N.Y to get here so it's going to take a long, long time before he gets to the shore of Antigua & Barbuda.

Agreed skyewill, we are still waiting for an official statement from the Police or the Minister of national security. Why is there a big hush-hush on this story, is Kenroy Marshall one of the alleged suspects in the murderers in the cedar valley double murder in custody, or was he held in the US as reported? Mr. Holder we would like to know.

The police is of No Help. I will appeal to the public if they have any information, do the right thing and start put( bul Pis sil.) or just shot them.. Things are getting out of hand and it is the same( sh t) message the police keep putting out.
