Police Investigate Robbery and Crash

Clarke's-Hill-traffic-accidentA beauty and barber shop on Bishopgate Street was targetted by bandits who managed to make off with an undisclosed sum. The owner reported that a masked man robbed him at gun point.

Two customers were inside the shop when a young man described as about 5'7" and dressed in dark clothing came in.

He took their money, along with their cell phones, then fled on foot.

The police are also investigating a traffic accident on All Saints Road, in the Clarke’s Hill area, at about 9:45 am on Monday.

A white Toyota Corolla, R2005, owned by Jackson’s Rental and driven by 30-year-old Gregg Richards of Freeman’s Village, had been heading east when the driver apparently lost control, skidded off the northern side of the road, and collided with a utility pole.

The Jaws of Life had to be used to rescue both the driver and two passengers. They were taken to the hospital after complaining of head injuries and chest and back pain.  The vehicle was extensively damage.

Yarde, your comments are senseless. If you have nothing constructive to say, then don't say anything at all. There you go again, blaming the govt for people who are allegedly high on drugs and crashing in to electric poles.
