Antigua St. John’s - While certain sections of the media have opted to run with the assumption that the death of 33-year-old Jemmo Shaw was a suicide, Police Spokesman Senior Sergeant William Holder said the force will not allow itself to be caught up in the immediate illusion of suicide.
“We treat everything that way because we don't know what happened,” Holder said.
Shaw’s body was found hanging from a tamarind tree along a deserted path in the Yeptons area about 1:20 pm on Wednesday. He had reportedly left his home in an unassumingly casual mode.
But the senior sergeant suggested that the scene could well have been “staged,” to generate the effect that floats in the public today.
“Understand that that is the procedure. That is why we are waiting on the autopsy and then we will give a conclusive statement.
“He could have been killed before and then carried there. Suppose the autopsy reveals that he was poisoned?” Holder said.

RE: Suicide Scene Could Have Been Staged - Police
I remember hearing a story of an educated man who was obliged to work as a labourer in contruction being so despondent that he spit on his certifictes and turned to alcohol for solace.
Is this what the sunshine Government has brought us too? I have heared there are many depressed and even suicidal citizen holding on by a thread out there. Is our land cursed because of our evil like Sodom and Gommorah?
