Traffic Accident Left Three Hospitalised

Golden Grove Traffic AccidentAntigua St. John's - The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a traffic accident on the Golden Grove Main Road, in the vicinity the Golden Grove Sport Complex that left three people seeking medical treatment at the Mount St. Johns Medical Center.

The incident which took place around 5:30pm Saturday, involved a white Honda Accord motor car A35584 driven by 35 year old Anthony Davis of Bolans and a blue Toyota Tercel motor car A768 owned and driven by Craig Parker of Golden Grove.

The allegations are that the driver of motor car A35584 was travelling from north to south on the Golden Grove Main Road at a rapid speed, when he attempted to overtake the driver of motor car A768, who was travelling in the same direction and about to make a right turn.

As a result the Honda Accord collided into the right front portion of the Toyota Tercel, which caused the driver of A35584 to lose control and crash into a culvert on the western side of the road.

The vehicle then skidded onto the eastern side of the road and came into contact with a number of people sitting under a shed.

Dale Edwards 43yrs old, Elaine Christopher 58 and her teenage daughter Kevena Christopher, all of Golden Grover were rushed to the hospital by the EMS having sustained various injuries.

Doctors at the hospital reported that conditions of the injured parties are stable.

A third vehicle, a dark green Nissan Sunny A11729, owned by Catherine Roberts of Golden Grove was also damaged after motor car A35584 collided into it while it was parked on the eastern side of the road. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

Yet another example of an idiot who doesn't know how to drive. He should be banned from driving for life, next time he may kill someone.
