Antigua St. John’s – A family of three has been displaced after a fire completely destroyed their home and belongings and caused serious damage to a nearby house early Friday morning.
Police reports state that officers are investigating the circumstances of the Whenner Road blaze that rendered Claudette Armstrong, Nodine Williams, and Williams’ three-year-old daughter Anna Williamson homeless.
Reportedly, Williams and her daughter awoke to find the living room of their 18 x 20 two-bedroom plywood home engulfed in flames while the rest of the house was filled with smoke.

Ellsworth Anderson Mack, age 53, and Miguel Morales, 21, both of Gray’s Farm were arrested and will have to answer to charges of house breaking and larceny.
Police jointly charged the duo with the offences after they allegedly broke into a home in Hodges Bay and stole two gas stoves, a television, a VCR, and four bedside lamps, valued at $9,900 total.
The men were allegedly caught in the act of committing the offences July 30, 2012 at Hodges Bay.
