Antigua St John's - With the arrest of three teenagers over the weekend, lawmen have made a significant breakthrough in solving a series of recent break-ins and larcenies.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department charged the Radio Range trio one 15-year-old and two 18-year-old males for allegedly committing the offences at various places and on different occasions in April and May this year.
The teens are accused of breaking into Christ the King High School between May 25 and 26 where $700 was reported stolen; St. Patrick’s Child Development Centre on April 29 and May 17 and stealing a quantity of electronic and other items; and St. John’s Lutheran School on May 6 where several electronic items were reported stolen.
Charges were also laid against the three for allegedly breaking into a DVD store on Cross & St. Mary’s Streets on four different occasions, and stealing a quantity of electronic items and DVD games valued at $8,773. These offences were committed on April 20, 27, 29 and 30.

Meanwhile, police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Kamou Phillip with shooting with intent, and his alleged target Kadeem Dowe, also 23, with shooting with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Both offences reportedly took place on May 30 in Villa Area where the two men reside.
Dowe was further charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition after he was found with a 9mm pistol and four matching rounds of ammunition on June 2.
