Swetes Man Arrested For Drugs Antigua st john's - The police executed several search warrants over the Whit weekend throughout the island, which led to the arrest of three people for drugs related offences, and others detained for questioning in connection with other offences.

Jaswa Joseph, 29, of Swetes, was arrested and charged for possession of 4.75 lbs of cannabis and possession with intent to transfer.

Joseph was at a house in Swetes last Wednesday when officers from the Narcotics Department executed a search warrant and discovered the substance inside.

Three other people were later arrested and charged after they were allegedly found with cannabis in their possession.

Also, the police jointly arrested and charged Deless Phillip and Sherwin Hunte, both 24, of No 3 George Street for possession of 17 cannabis plants and cultivation of cannabis on Saturday at George Street.
