Antigua St john's - The police are investigating a shooting in Villa that left a family running for cover after hearing gunshots outside their house.
At about 2:30 pm on Saturday, a woman and her two daughters were sitting on their gallery when two vehicles pulled up outside.
Within 10 minutes, the occupants of the cars began firing shots at each other. A bullet reportedly went through a window in the woman’s house. Both vehicles reportedly sped away in opposite directions. No one was injured.

Meanwhile, three men have been hospitalised with possible head injuries after two separate traffic accidents involving motorcycles on Monday.
The first accident happened at about 10:35 am on Monday on Liberta main road near the Mango Tree Bar involving a purple-and-white Yamaha motorcycle, owned and ridden by 34-year-old Christopher Eastwood of Potters, and a Silver Daihatsu Terios, A27450, driven by 23-year-old Jamal Pelle of John Hughes.
The vehicles had reportedly been travelling in the same direction when the driver of the jeep came to a stop. The rider lost control and ran into the back of the jeep.
He is reported to have suffered facial and head injuries, and was rushed to the Mount St John's Medical Center by EMS, who shortly arrived on the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle was extensively damaged.
Meanwhile, as the police were carrying out their investigations, the driver of a Blue Nissan Condor, C9654, owned and driven by Craig Constant of Pares, attempted to force its way past the accident and collided with a silver Daihatsu Terios, dislodged its front bumper, and damaged the left fender. No one was injured.
The second accident took place at around 11:30 am at the junction of Herberts Main Road and All Saints Road, involving a dark blue Dodge Dakota pickup, C10151, owned and driven by 61-year-old Zulrone Stephens of Liberta, and a maroon Yamaha motorcycle ridden by 19-year-old Donald Telemaque of Cooks Extension, with a pillion passenger, 18-year-old Clenmore Warner of the same address.

The police are also investigating a traffic accident on the Pares Village Road near the Welshes Supermarket involving pick up, SC452, attached to APUA and driven by Ronald Williams of Cassada Gardens.
The pick-up had reportedly been travelling from east to west on the Pares Village Main Road when the driver lost control and ran into the sidewalk on the left side of the road, then into a fence, then overturned. A passenger, Dian Michael, sustained lacerations to his head.
