Police Investigate Possible Suicide

Antigua st John's - The police are investigating the apparent suicide of a Dominican Republic national, an outpatient of the Clarevue Mental Hospital, who lived in the Grays-Green community.

The 51-year-old Woman was found hanging by the neck with a piece of electrical wire in the living room of a Christian Street Gray's Farm home.

Police spokesman Sr Sgt William Holder said the police received an anonymous phone call at about 3 pm on Tuesday.

When they arrived at her Christian Street home, they found the body hanging from a rafter in the roof with an electrical cord around her neck.
 
Holder identified the woman as Brijiba Altagracia De La Rosario-Slaven. She was 51, and more commonly known in the community as "Lucy".
