Man Charged With Attempted Murder Antigua St John's - The police have arrested and charged a 23 year old man with Attempted Murder. Fausta Alberto De Jesus hails form the Dominican Republic, and presently resides on De Souza Road.

De Jesus allegedly attempted to murder 21 year old Joban Santana, also a native of the Dominican Republic.

On April 22nd, De Jesus allegedly attacked Santana at a bar on Joseph Lane.

Three of Santana's fingers were severed by a cutlass in the incident. De Jesus will appear in court on Thursday (today).

In another matter the Police are investigating a report of robbery where a 38 years old woman of Cooks Hill was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a masked man.

The alleged incident took place around 9:55pm on Wednesday, after the woman had just reached her home.

The man was described as 5ft-9ins in height, slimly built, dressed in a long sleeve black shirt and wearing a mask.

The man stole her handbag, contained in which was her passport, driver's license, Voter's ID Card, and an undisclosed sum of money.

The Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.

Well, Header, these documents can also be stolen at home as home invasions have also increased.
