Police Officer Charged for Vehicle Theft

Antigua St John's - Four men have been charged in connection with the theft of a Toyota Corolla, A20719, from a 34-year-old Belmont woman.

The police listed the accused as 30-year-old Cardyan Harper and 34-year-old Kelvin Jones both of Dominica, residing in Gray's Farm and Yorks, respectively, along with 24-year-old Dwayne Gordon, a police officer living in Martin’s Village.

The vehicle, A20719, was stolen sometime between April 26 and 27, from outside the owner's home in Belmont.

Meanwhile, the police arrested and charged 27-year-old Lloyd Anthony Jones of Jamaica with possession of 20.75lbs of cannabis, importation, and possession with intent to transfer.

He was also jointly charged with Kemar Shellrock Francis 27, also of Jamaica, with conspiracy to import the drugs at the VC Bird International Airport on Sunday at around 10:30 pm.
