Herberts Man Chopped with Cutlass

Antigua St John's - A Herberts man is recovering in the hospital after being slashed with a cutlass on Wednesday.
Bevan Baltimore, 24, of Herberts, reported that shortly after 10 am on Wednesday, he went into some bushes in the Herberts area to look for sugar cane.
He said a man believed to be in his forties approached him, armed with a cutlass, and told him he was trespassing on his property.

An argument ensued, and as a result the man inflicted several chop wounds to Baltimore's left and right feet, right hand, and forehead.
Baltimore was subsequently taken to the hospital, where doctors reported that his injuries were serious but not life threatening.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
