Cocaine seizure of canadians at VC BirdAntigua St John's - The Canadian couple apprehended at the airport over the weekend will appear in the All Saints Magistrate Court on April 17 to answer to the charges.

The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) conducted a counter drug operation on April 14 which resulted in the seizure of four kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of about $565,115.00.
 
Robert Veillette 49, and Angie Eliotte, 37, were arrested at the VC Bird International Airport after they allegedly attempted to board a flight to Canada with the illegal narcotics.



Also arrested for his involvement was 29-year-old Kenny Reynolds, a Dominican who lives in Antigua at Lower Gambles.
 
Both accused drug couriers have been charged with drug trafficking, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, exportation, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

the funny part is the ondcp is greatly understaffed and the government is not even trying to assist them in filling the ranks and boosting their manpower and they are by far our most successful law enforcement agency
