Antigua St. John's - Nathaniel “Paddy” James is appealing for a response from Attorney General Justin Simon about an injunctive order that prevents him from offering his services to the public.
James said Simon has acted unlawfully. “The intention of the Land Act,” he said of the AG, “is to do the opposite of what it is you are actually doing. Serious allegations have been made against you, and you are a minister of the crown and under the cabinet. The allegations were corroborated by the letters from Mrs Hill. She sought advice from you, and the public deserves an answer.”
When Caribarena spoke with Attorney General Justin Simon, he said he had no comment. “I will not respond,” he said. “If I do reply, it will be in my own time, but not right now.”
Cecilia Hill also chose not to comment, saying only that “I acted under the instruction of the Attorney General.”
James, however, had more to say on the matter.
