Don't Be Scared of Your Swimsuit

photo-lolwow.jpgIt's June, and the gyms and fitness centers are overflowing with overly ambitious people trying to miraculously achieve the perfect summer body for either the beach or Carnival.

If it is the former, showing off that itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny, barely-there bikini, some should really consider seeking professional help with choosing swimwear that is actually suitable for their body size and shape.

There is nothing more disgusting that seeing someone on the beach wearing the latest fashion in bathing suits, with their body parts hanging out in certain places and getting squashed in other places, blinding the rest of the unsuspecting beach audience with views that should only be seen in horror movies.

The pure and simple truth is that no two bodies are exactly the same, and what may fit Sue like a supermodel may fit Jane like a body-thong in all the wrong places. Short of starving oneself, it would be an uphill climb for some people to suddenly become an epitome of fitness in a few weeks, thus resulting in the impossible task of fitting into Sue’s teeny-weeny bikini.

For the rest of us who live in the real world, who do not have the perfect body, who may either be flat-chested, top heavy, or bottom wide, or who may have love handles and the like, there are a few guidelines to find the perfect swimsuit to flatter your figure:

• For women with little or no breasts, a padded bra or bikini top would disguise your shortage.

• More voluptuous women should wear suits that give support and accentuate the cleavage in the right places, so halter tops and solid colours are best.photo-blogspot.com

• Those who have short legs should wear high cut suits – they will make you appear a little taller than you actually are.

• People with big bellies, love handles, or mid-section dimples are better off wearing one piece swimsuits and suits that have motifs or ruffles or designs on the shoulder or chest to draw attention away from the mid-section.

Expectant moms – your pregnant belly is your ticket to wear whatever kind of swimsuit your heart desires – you can show off the belly or cover it up.

It’s up to you! There are several styles to choose from: the one-piece, two-piece, halter-top, bikini, boy-shorts, g-string and more. It is simply up to you to choose the suit that emphasizes the best of your figure.

But keep exercising, and not just for the summer, and remember that not because it is the trend or because it is fashionable to wear the thong bikini means that it would be the hit on you. Be sure to choose what suits you, and what fits properly and makes you comfortable so you can enjoy the sand, sea, sun and all the onlookers.

It takes a lot of work to stay that size, hence a lot of food is needed to maintain it.
