They called themselves the Fashiontastic Ladies, and the trio - Ms Nelson, Ms Mingle and Ms Spencer - were the promoters behind last Sunday night's Fashiontastic, the local event that turned out to be a mind-blowing experience.

It was held at the Simon Bolivar Culture Center, and hosted by Shane Marsh and Jaycees Caribbean Queen Shalana George. Despite a late start, what was most definitely a fashiontastic experience kept everyone seated until the end of the show.

If there is such a thing as true Antiguan fashion, then it was displayed by some of the youngest designers in the business as models graced the catwalk boasting their irresistible works of style and class.

Designs from Jay's Fashion, NOX, Y&Y, Dreads and Threads, Arjeant's Fashions, Sherine's Fashion and Angel Star Designs all proved professional, trendy, stylish, unique, and positively Antiguan.

Entertainment during the intermission was provided by artists Lee Pee Chin and Chali X, and the DJ for the night was Ibis. But then it was back to fashion. The What's In Store models were also there to showcase their plus-sized designs, and as usual they were a hit on the catwalk.
