Antigua St John's - Two drops of restorer; a generous dollop of probase; a dab of rice powder; and a liberal amount of bronzer. No, this is not the recipe for a gourmet meal, or even a Sunday afternoon soiree dessert.

Recently, local manager and agent for Sacha Cosmetics in Antigua, Ms. Aury Carter, held a seminar at the Grand Royal Antiguan Resort, which showcased the talents of regional make-up artists Joel ‘Ronnie’ John and Isha Joseph.
 
In order to explain the effect that Sacha has on the skin, let us use this analogy. Imagine the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly. Oh, sure, the caterpillar is beautiful in its own “skin”.

But, it is almost indisputable that the end product which is the butterfly is not one of the most exquisite transformations ever seen. So, too, is the wonder of Sacha Cosmetics.

The models were beautiful to begin with, with near flawless skin. But, had they been “flawed” by time, weather, scars or any such defacement, no worries…there was a solution for all that. Take, for instance, the aforementioned restorer it is used to bring back crème or gel eyeliners to their original form.

What of the probase? This is a white crème waterproof eye shadow base that gives eye shadow its truest pigment, holding the shadow in place until it is washed off.

And the rice powder? No pots and pans needed, although as its name implies, this is the refined starch from rice, known as Oryza Sativa, that when applied as a make-up base, is also used to soothe inflamed acne and skin ulcerations.
 
So you see, the Sacha cosmetics are not just about transformation on the surface, but their cosmetics work “subliminally”, beautifying as it beautifies. This is the penultimate desire of the Sacha Cosmetic brand.

They first sought to develop a line of foundations that was so natural-looking it would fit like a second skin on any complexion.
