Antigua St. John’s - Sharon Kirby is confident she will raise the EC $13,500 needed to cover medical and other costs for her 11-month old baby who has been diagnosed with cataracts and kidney problems.
Kirby is scheduled to travel to Barbados next week Thursday for a follow up visit with experts dealing with Marlon Williams Jnr.
“I will have it in time for Thursday,” she assured, “This is not just for the eyes. It’s also for his kidneys his ectopic left kidney. It’s not in the right place.”
“The public has been very good to me. I must say thank you. You know you will have some hiccup with some people saying certain things, but I as mother who wants to help my child I have to put that behind me.”
Some of the toddler’s health challenges were first detected in April.
