Help For Baby Marlon

Sharon Kirby (white) outside EpicureanAntigua St. John’s - Sharon Kirby is confident she will raise the EC $13,500 needed to cover medical and other costs for her 11-month old baby who has been diagnosed with cataracts and kidney problems.

Kirby is scheduled to travel to Barbados next week Thursday for a follow up visit with experts dealing with Marlon Williams Jnr.

“I will have it in time for Thursday,” she assured, “This is not just for the eyes. It’s also for his kidneys his ectopic left kidney. It’s not in the right place.”

“The public has been very good to me. I must say thank you. You know you will have some hiccup with some people saying certain things, but I as mother who wants to help my child I have to put that behind me.”

Some of the toddler’s health challenges were first detected in April.

Less than a month later, Kirby took him to Barbados for a month while he underwent surgeries to remove the cataracts from both eyes.

During the upcoming visit, she said, Marlon would have to undergo a procedure to correct his eyes in particular since he can’t see from his left one.

People interested in making financial contributions can do so at ABIB under the Marlon Williams Jnr Medial Fund account number 400318335.

Members of Marlon’s family also regularly set up a table outside the Epicurean Supermarket to facilitate further donations.

783 hits and no comments. Good luck Miss Kirby I hope every thing goes well for you and your baby. If this article was about Lester Bird there would be 44 comments. Our priorities are misplaced. I will say a prayer for you
