Antigua St. John’s - The Potters Clinic was the recipient of a timely donation as the Potters 2011 Reunion Committee followed through on its promise to give back to the community.
Last month, the group presented a digital baby scale, a first aid kit, glucose monitoring equipment and supplies, and other supplies to the health clinic.
In accepting the gifts, Matron Quallis was quite pleased for the supplies which she said would serve them well. Nurse Winston too expressed her appreciation for the replacement of the items which she said would assist them greatly in their day to day activities.
During their reunion celebrations last year, the Potters Reunion Committee hosted a week of activities aimed at creating a heightened awareness of community spirit as well as to recognise those individuals who have contributed to the development of the village and nation building as whole.
